A recycling site for Guinea
EuroGuinée e.V. (www.euroguinee.de), VR no. 3592, is a non-profit association that has been promoting international understanding and development cooperation with Guinea since 2002. The projects are not developed in Germany, but come from partner organisations in Guinea. These ideas, such as the construction of a health centre in remote areas of the interior, are implemented in collaboration with the local population and partner organisations. Funding has been requested from BMZ for this purpose. The current project in Coyah focuses on the supply of drinking water (deep wells, sanitary facilities) and waste recycling. The main objective is to build a recycling site for processing plastics and organic waste.
